Try out the Alexa skill and meet the new brand name of Sticker-Eye

Dear backers,

We are glad to announce that we have enabled our camera to work with Alexa. If you have an Alexa voice command compatible device such as an Echo, you can get the camera's status via Alexa. 

In order to work with Alexa we have to use a trademarked camera name. The original name of "eyecloudCam" was not approved by the USPTO, but we have been approved to use "Sticker-Eye" as our registered trademark for our cameras. Sticker-Eye stands for smart eyes can be easily sticked to anywhere a user wants - emphasizing the two key features of our camera: edge-AI and wire-free.
 

From firmware and APP version 2.0 and on we will use Sticker-Eye as our brand name, and accordingly, names for the Camera, the camera system (firmware) and APP will also be changed from eyecloudCam to Sticker-Eye. When you upgrade the camera system to a new version( 2.0 and on) in the future, the Model in Device Info will be listed as Sticker-Eye, and if you want to download or update our APP from App Store or Google Play, please search "Sticker-Eye by eyecloud.ai". 

On Alexa our skill is called Sticker-Eye Skill(English), now you can search "Sticker-Eye" and try out the new skill.

New firmware version is available

Dear Backers,

Since we started shipping eyecloudCam we have received a lot of feedback from you and we trully appreciate them a lot. Based on your feedback our development team has been working hard to continuouly improve the product and address customer requests. 

Now there is a new firmware (Device System) version 1.20 availbale for you to upgrade your cameras. New system fixed many issues reported by customers with most notable changes on:

- Improved battery life and battery level reporting to prevent over-consumption

- Improved image quality for outdoor scenes

- Person Detection range extended for both indoor and outdoor scenes

Please upgrade your cameras to the latest version. If you need any assistance with the camera, please feel free to ask us on www.eyecloudcam.net and submit a question or feedback via "Support".

Shipping Update - We're On The Home Stretch!

Here’s a quick update to let you know that we’ve almost finished shipping your eyecloudCams. 

There are still 40 orders to be sent off, but fear not! We’re doing our best to ship them to you as soon as possible. :) Once the packages are sent off, we’ll come back to you with a confirmation email.

Latest Shipping Status

Dear all,

Many thanks for your comments, suggestions, general feedback, and most important, your patience. 

We've shared below several details regarding the shipping status:

1. [8GB camera pledges] with survey [before December 9th, 2018]: all eyecloudCams were delivered.

2. [8GB camera pledges] with survey [between 10.12.2018- 13.03.2019]: your eyecloudCams are being packed and sorted for the next week shipment. All those who filled in the Backerkit Survey will receive an email with the tracking IDs once their packages are sent off.

3. [32GB camera pledges] with survey [before 21.01.2019]: There was a total of 3 batches to be shipped:

- The 1st batch was delivered. 

- The 2nd batch was shipped out and is on its way. 

- The last batch is being packed and sorted as we speak, and will be shipped out next week as well. We'll email the tracking IDs for this last batch to all those who completed the Backerkit Survey.

4. [32GB camera pledges]  with survey [between 22.01.2019- 13.03.2019]: Products are waiting to be packed, sorted and shipped. Next week we'll email the tracking IDs to our backers for this batch also.
