The time has come to share with you some info regarding the things we’ve been busy with while celebrating from afar with our fellow brothers and sisters who recently entered 2019.

1. First and foremost, Chinese holidays are over and we’re so thrilled to get back on track with the shipping! Starting today, we’ll go ahead with everything we put on hold these weeks. 

To all those who are waiting to receive their eyecloudCams: you’ll receive your tracking IDs on your emails when your packages are sent off.

2. Meantime, our tech team has been working on improving the app. The next version of the app is coming [very] soon on App Store and Google Play.

Shipping Progress And Challenges

Hello everyone,

Many thanks for all your suggestions and input! 

As you might already know, next week China is entering 2019. This means that before February 20 there isn't any shipping service available.

In the meantime, here’s a series of updates we want to share with you:

1. There are several eyecloudCam 8GB packages left to be shipped. The reason we haven’t managed to to ship them yet was due to some some logistical issues we’ve encountered in our shipping process. And given the Chinese New Year, the delivery for this batch will also be compromised. We'll come back at you with some updated on this matter.

2. The first batch of eyecloudCam 32GB has just been shipped out from our factory to the DHL warehouse. Once the packages reach the DHL warehouse in Hong Kong, we’ll also get all tracking IDs. Since shipping is influenced by the Chinese holidays, we might encounter some delays on this side as well.

3. Starting February 20, shipping will be back in business! This means that we’ll go on with sending off eyecloudCam 32GB and what’s left from the last batch of eyecloudCam 8GB.

4. For those who’ve already received eyecloudCam: we’ve created a Support Page where you can share with us your feedback. Enter HERE and click “Support”. We’ll do our best to reply to your messages as quickly as possible.

Dear all,

Many thanks for your comments and recommendations! We’re doing everything we can to sync your suggestions to our plan and improve eyecloudCam.

Also, we’ve fixed the registration bugs and optimized some UE, so don’t forget to update your eyecloudCam App from the App store or Play store.

Finally, as you may know, we're attending CES 2019 and we couldn't be more thrilled!

Instruction Videos

Hi backers,

We prepared some instruction videos for you to set up your eyecloudCam. Hope it can help when you have problems using your eyecloudCam.

 After you receive your eyecloudCam, download the "eyecloudCam" App on app store or google play. Register an account and login. Then follow this video to set up your eyecloudCam.

 When your camara is offline, you can follow this video to reconnect your eyecloudCam. This video also works when you want to reconnect the camera to the same Wi-Fi when the camera is offline.

 If you want to add a new camera to your App account, follow this video.

 If you want to share your camera with a Guest account, you can follow this video. A Guest account only has access to watch the Live and receive alerts, but has no permission to set the camera.

Dear Backers, 

We have started shipping from end of December. By now some of you should already have received the eyecloudCam and some will receive them soon. We have made our best effort to test and ship these units to you as early as possible, and we are as excited as you that the fruit of our hard work is finally a real product. 

We would like to thank you again for your support and patience with us as eyecloudCam is still the only shipping product with on camera AI and powered by rechargeable batteries. However, we will inevitable have some issue just like any first version product would have (think iPhone1 as an example), and we want to listen to your feedback and work with you on fixing these issues you might encounter. And one of the advantages of eyecloudCam is its capability of doing System Upgrade Over The Air, which means we can roll out fixes and new features over time to improve the performance and functionality. 

Please kindly be reminded to follow the instruction manual to set up the camera according to the following suggestions: 

1. Please be sure to charge the camera before you run the camera setup. 

2. Please scan the QR code in the back of the package or go to www.eyecloud.ai from your phone to connect to Play Store on Android or AppStore on iOS to download the “eyecloudCam” APP. 

3. During the APP installation, please give the permissions to eyecloudCam APP to access your phone’s WiFi settings, notifications, and microphone and speakers. 

4. Once the APP is installed and running, you will be asked to setup a free user account to help protect your privacy and secure access to the camera. For added security you will need to use your email to receive Two-Factor Authentication code (in some countries and regions, you have an option to use SMS to receive the Two-Factor Authentication code). You have the option to turn off the secondary authentication for your convenience. 

5. Your camera is designed to work only with 2.4Ghz WiFi signal. Your phone needs to be on 2.4Ghz WiFi access point as well during the setup phrase. After the camera is set up you can use your APP from any internet connection. 

6. You will need to input the WiFi ID and password on the APP to generate a QR code for the camera to scan and read, that is how the camera can be connected to work on the WiFi network of your choice. 

7. Once your camera is connected to the WiFi router and be paired (bound) with your user account, it will be ready to use.
